I used that as my inspiration when I made something similar back home. Over the year this has been modified to an unrecognisable level but I have made this an untold amount of times throughout the years since, sometime I add tomatoes, sometimes not, but I can tell you that I miss it when it isn&#8217;t in the fridge&#8230;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00bc Stick Softened Butter &#8211; Optional<\/li>\n<li>\u00bc to \u00bd cup Olive Oil<\/li>\n<li>1 tomato<\/li>\n<li>At least 5 cloves of finely minced garlic<\/li>\n<li>Basil \u2013 Finely chopped<\/li>\n<li>Oregano \u2013 Finely Chopped<\/li>\n<li>Chili \u2013 Finely chopped (Optional)<\/li>\n<li>Salt and Pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>I have substituted the herbs depending on what I was making, this works well with rosemary and thyme as well as just garlic, basil and tomato.<\/em><\/p>\n<h5><strong>Directions:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>I use a food processor, add all ingredients and blitz and add olive oil to get the consistency I want.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><em>You can do this without a food processor but I would recommend adding all the herbs seasonings to a pestle and mortal prior to mixing with the butter and oil to ensure the ingredients are bruised enough to release their flavours.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>[\/bg_collapse]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[bg_collapse view=&#8221;button-orange&#8221; color=&#8221;#4a4949&#8243; expand_text=&#8221;Show More&#8221; collapse_text=&#8221;Show Less&#8221; ] I went to a friends wedding in Spain and they served toasted bread with tomato and olive oil.
