Also, adding infusions just takes it up a notch!\u00a0 I always keep a squeeze bottle in the fridge, works great for cocktails, lemonade and iced tea (just be careful with the infusions)<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>2 parts sugar<\/li>\n<li>1 part water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Infusions (optional)<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ginger<\/li>\n<li>Mint<\/li>\n<li>Cinnamon<\/li>\n<li>Chillies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Preparation:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li>put two parts sugar in a pot<\/li>\n<li>add one part water (and infusions if wanted)<\/li>\n<li>bring to a light boil stirring constantly<\/li>\n<li>let cool completely and strain optional infusions if necessary<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>This will keep for several weeks to a month in the fridge so I use 250ml water and 500g sugar to make my batches<\/p>\n<p>[\/bg_collapse]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[bg_collapse view=&#8221;button-orange&#8221; color=&#8221;#4a4949&#8243; expand_text=&#8221;Show More&#8221; collapse_text=&#8221;Show Less&#8221; ] You can buy sugar syrup but why when it is so easy?
